One Heartbeat – The essence of everything we do. We act as one unified Association to deliver against our goal of shaping our future Highlander Football Players.
Integrity - All members of the Association our held accountable to a strict Codes of Conduct, and are given a strict background check before coaches are put in any contact with children.
Financial Accountability – We will have an annual budget that will be shared openly with the public.
Transparency – We will have regularly scheduled parent meetings, and we welcome parents the opportunity to participate in our monthly Association Meetings. All meetings will be posted on the website.
Safety – All of our Head Coaches will be trained on basic first aid (including knowing signs of heat exhaustion and post contact concussion)
Collaboration – We will work closely with the Oak Hills Athletic Department and High School Football Program to continually improve our Youth Program.
Football Fundamentals – All of our coaches will be trained and held accountable for knowing and teaching football fundamentals based on direction from the Oak Hills High School Football Staff. We will use a variety of forums (Oak Hills High School Mandatory Training Classes, Clinics and On-Line Seminars) to accomplish this.
Competition – Both our Red and Black Football Teams will be competitive relative to the division they play in.
Accountability – Each year parents will be provided the opportunity to select which team they would like their child to play on. This will help enable accountability of our head coach and his/her staff to the players and parents.
Role Modeling – Our football players, coaches and Association will be role models for the community; demonstrating discipline, integrity, leadership, sportsmanship and good citizenship.
